How is the fare calculated?
Fares are based on a base rate plus per-km and per-minute charges set by the driver. You see the full estimated fare before you confirm the ride — no surprises. Fluw charges $0 commission on top, so what you see is what you pay.
Is there surge pricing?
No. Fluw does not have surge pricing controlled by an algorithm. Drivers set their own rates, and those rates don't automatically spike during busy periods. You always know what you're paying before you confirm.
How do I pay for rides?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe — the same infrastructure used by Amazon and Google. You add a card once in the app, and payment happens automatically at the end of each ride. Your card details are never stored on Fluw's servers.
Where is Fluw available?
Fluw is currently launching in the Greater Toronto Area, with York University as the pilot zone. We're expanding across the GTA and plan to grow to other cities in 2026–2027. Sign up to get notified when Fluw reaches your area.
How do I use the promo code?
Download the app, create your account, and enter your promo code in the "Promos" section of the menu before booking your first ride. The credit will be automatically applied at checkout. New rider code: NewRider
Is the app available on Android?

Common questions.

Fluw charges a flat monthly subscription — $0 for Basic or $199 for Pro. There is no commission taken per ride. Pro subscribers keep 100% of every fare and can set their own rates. Subscriptions are purchased on this website via Stripe.
Apple charges a 30% fee on all in-app purchases. By subscribing through our website using Stripe, 100% of your subscription goes toward the platform — keeping our costs low and your earnings high. Once purchased, your driver tab unlocks in the app automatically.
Earnings are transferred directly to your bank account via Stripe within 2 business days. Pro subscribers can request an instant payout at any time from the driver dashboard inside the app.
Fluw is currently live across the Greater Toronto Area. We are focused on building a strong driver and rider network in Toronto before expanding to other Canadian cities in late 2026.
You will need a valid Ontario driver's licence, a government-issued photo ID, current vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration. All documents are submitted through the Fluw driver app during onboarding.
Riders can pay by credit or debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, or cash. Card payments are processed securely through Stripe. Card details are encrypted and never stored on Fluw's servers.
Yes — Pro subscribers can set a custom per-kilometre rate, per-minute rate, and minimum fare from the driver dashboard in the app. Your rate card is visible to riders before they book.
