About Fluw
Fluw was founded by Ahmed Abdullah, a Computer Science student at York University's Lassonde School of Engineering, after watching Toronto's ride sharing drivers be systematically underpaid by platforms that take up to 35% of every fare.
The premise is straightforward. The algorithm should serve the driver, not the other way around. Fluw replaces opaque commission structures with a simple subscription model. Drivers know exactly what they pay, set their own rates, and keep everything else.
We're not trying to be a cheaper Uber. We're building the fair and transparent alternative — where drivers control their income, riders see the full picture, and nothing is hidden behind an algorithm optimised for platform revenue.
